The 2004 Symposium is

participated in this event. We couldn't

10th Annual Symposium September 13-15, 2005 in
Minot, North Dakota.

Attendees
The registration rate for NDSWMA
members
is $100.00. Non-member rate: $125.00. If you
are interested in becoming a member, click here.
Rates include seminars, meals and Wed. afternoon tours
(not the Tues. tours).

Exhibitors
The registration rate is $350.00 (registration form).
Rates include attendance
(seminars and meals) for up to three people, booth
space, and a one-year NDSWMA membership.
If you register by June 30th, 2004, we are
offering a $50.00 discount. This also
includes one business card size ad in the annual
symposium newsletter (sent to approximately 1,000
communities and businesses in the tri-state area. If you cannot make it, and are interested in getting
your information out to all attendees, you can
"Stuff your Stuff" for $100.00 (brochures must be
received by Wed., Sept. 1st). Non-Profit

Hotel Information
A block of rooms is reserved until August
20th at the Ramada Inn in Grand Forks.
Rates: $55.00 + tax (regular block rate), $45.00 + tax
(state government rate within block, must have State ID). Reservations: (701)
775-3951. Please make sure to ask for the
ND Solid Waste and Recycling Symposium (NDSWMA) block of rooms
to get these rates by August 20th.; discount may not
apply after this date.
Golf - September 14:
Join us for the 7th Annual Golf
Tournament at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at
the Kings Walk Golf Course in Grand Forks.
Registration for golf is listed on all registration
forms and is $55.00 (includes cart, 18 holes, steak dinner
following the event).
Greenway, EERC and Myra Museum Tours - September 14:
This year we are offering a little
something for those that aren't into swinging the clubs!
Join us for a tour of Grand Forks "Greenway" area that
has been redone since the 1997 flood. Tour the
Energy and Environmental Research Center - home to many
valuable projects and research that relate to solid
waste (biomass fuel), wind technology and more.
Finally, we'll finish with a visit to the Myra Museum
where you can learn about North Dakota's early pioneers.
Transportation will be provided, and will leave from the
hotel at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 14, 2004.
The tour will end up back at the hotel, and the option
for a $15 golf course steak dinner may be available.
