Agenda
The 2011 conference agenda is in the planning stages. If you are interested in speaking or wish to suggest speakers, please contact us (below). The agenda is typically made available in mid-July.
Attendees
The attendee rates have been set @ $160.00 for members and $200 for non-members. Applications are available on the web. Call us or e-mail us if you have questions.
Exhibitors
Interested in showcasing your products or services to attendees? Exhibitor space fills up quickly. An early-bird rate is available . Booth rates are $400.00 prior to July 15 and $500.00 after July 15 and includes 2 conference attendees. If you cannot make it to the conference this year, and are interested in getting your information out to all attendees, you can "Stuff your Stuff" for $120. This material will be made available at the registration booth to all attendees. You can also get your name and services out to our attendees through being a sponsor for the conference. There are several sponsorship levels available. Forms and details will be made available on line.
Hotel Information
A block of rooms are reserved at the Ramada - Grand Dakota Lodge in Dickinson (all sessions will take place here). To reserve your room, call (701) 483-5600; $109 plus tax prior to August 15. The hotel is located at 532 15 St W, Dickinson, ND 58601. Due to the high demand for hotel rooms in western ND, we advise you book your room as EARLY as possible. Be sure to ask for the "ND Solid Waste and Recycling Conference" block of rooms to get the discount rate. Additional rooms may be made available at neighboring hotels; Comfort Inn; check with us for additional information.
Golf and more - Tuesday, September 13:
18 holes of golf at the Heart River Country Club starting at 1 pm. The potential for additional golfing at the Bully Pulpit in Medora is also an option on Wednesday.
Leadership Award:
Is there someone in your organization or a business, non-profit or city that you believe has done an outstanding job in their dedication to the solid waste and recycling profession? If so, contact Jerry or another board member to nominate them for our annual Leadership Award that is given at our annual conference. The person, business, etc. must be a member of the NDSWRA.
Scholarship Award:
Don't forget to apply (or have your children apply) for our annual scholarship awards. New last year: the applicant must have an interest/emphasis in the the area of the environment, solid waste, recycling or similar area. See the application and details on our scholarship page.
Greener ND Award:
Don't forget to nominate a person, business or organization for our annual Greener ND Award. They do not have to be a member. See the application and details on our award page.
