STUDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
The North Dakota Solid Waste and Recycling Association (NDSWRA) is a non-profit organization that works to educate, train and promote environmentally sound waste management practices. Since 1999, our organization has been able to provide an annual scholarship to those that wish to further their education and training. Donations made throughout the year and at our annual conference make this scholarship fund possible. Awards are announced at the fall Solid Waste and Recycling Symposium each year. Up to two $1000 scholarships will be awarded each year to applications receiving the highest scores. Applications must be postmarked or received by July 31st each year. |
GREENER NORTH DAKOTA & NDSWRA LEADERSHIP AWARDS
The NDSWRA wishes to recognize businesses, individuals and organizations who work toward protection of our environment by their efforts in solid waste management, recycling, renewable energy process programs, creating jobs involving recyclables, pollution reductions, and more. Formal awards, The Greener North Dakota Award and the NDSWRA Leadership Award, may be presented at the Annual Symposium event to recognize those outstanding business, organizations or individuals. If possible, the awards are presented in person. The NDSWRA has a standing call for nominees for these awards. Guidelines and application available here. |
